It’s the start of a new month which means it’s time to review the progress made from the past month! March was a roaring success as I am now roughly halfway through (chapter wise) my Celestial Saga WIP. I also made a lot of progress with the first round of developmental edits to my other WIP.

On that note, if you missed the announcement on Relax & Chat with Rod Gilley or on the post I made, I’m currently working on the next set of stories within the Celestial Saga! In the book I am working on now, I have reached a section of the story where we leave the fight in space to go to an urban setting. While I’m still listening to Michael Giacchino’s Star Trek scores while writing the Celestial Saga, I switched to the ODST soundtrack as it creates a nice ambiance for urban warfare. The overall feel of this trilogy is closer to Halo versus Star Trek like the previous trilogy with emphasis put on the ODSTs.
For my other WIP, I have completed the first round of developmental edits for fifteen of the thirty-five chapters. I absolutely love writing one of the villains in this story and have expanded her role with these edits so far!
Despite having a bad month in February, I am still ahead of my word count goal for the first three months of the year! I felt like I returned to my usual stride in March and I am planning on continuing that into April. This month I plan on finishing the Celestial Saga WIP and the first round of developmental edits to my other WIP.
Monthly Goal: 29,418/16,667 (176.5%)
Yearly Goal: 65,863/200,000 (32.9%)
